Well i was going to whine about being in the emergency room with my son since 2am this morning cause he's running a 102 fever (he's 3months old) but after reading another situation it really kinda puts everything in perspective. luckily he's only got the flu as well.. i mean yeah it's serious for that little fella but nothing life threatining, we just have to stay on top of it.
it's funny how you always think you've got it bad but there's always worse.
you guys have a great day

well prayers are still with you it is always tough to watch your kids go though this stuff and there is nothing you can really do except be there to comfort...
I felt like that anyway with my sons arm....which by the way we went last friday and they said in 6 months we will return for an xray to see if the arm is growing properly since the break
and again prayers for your son!

oh that was before you joined I see ....Nov 25 he was at a Bday party down the road at a friends house they were playing Football and he broke his left elbow it was one that I KNEW it was broke off to the ER we went and WAITED got the xray and they told us we would spend the night there because of a vein they were worried got bruised...imagine a 5 year old in the ER with NOTHING to do or NO TV to watch for 7 HOURS he wasnt bad just bored (me too)finally a DR took pity on us and left us leave but had to return next morning by 630 ...we saw a Orthopedic Dr and he wanted a Cat Scan because it was broken right at the growth plate...long story alittle shorter 2 cat scans later they decided the bone was 3mm apart 4mm ment surgery ( 1 mm lucky!) so 3 weeks in a cast, 3 weeks in a half cast it is better except he doesnt have full range of motion yet the 6 month xray will determine if the break stunned the growth plate at all
Check out my confused fan! The Westbrook Jersey and the COwboys cast the Dr gave him per his request
Glad his fever has broke hope he is doing better!

There is a story that was told. It seems that one day God told everyone to take their problems and hang them on this big clothesline. After a while He told everyone to go back to the clothesline and remove as many problems as they had put on it. After some thought everyone went back and got their old problems back. The moral. Although you may believe your problems to be bad, you have learned with God's help to cope with them. You really don't want to start over with new unknown problems.

Prayers for your little guy. I hope he is better now. ER stinks, spent many hours there with my wife today after she passed out in the lab. They sure like to make you wait in there. Anyways she's doing better and I hope your son is too. Hard to see our kids suffer.
I have a story about when my son was sick once. It was his birthday and he was very sick and sleeping on the couch. I think he was 5 at the time. We had a birthday party planned at the local bowling alley with all his friends and family. It was time to go as everybody would be arriving so I told my wife to go and I'd stay with him. After she left, I laid hands on him and rebuked the illness in the name of Jesus and commanded it to leave and behold, he woke up completely well!!!! We went to the party and had a great time.

I work in an ER and I have seen lots of young ones and old ones come in sick, beat up, bruised up,and cut up. My prayers are sent to all that have been in an ER lately and all their families.
