View Full Version : Judge arrived!

My Judge came in tonight and I am impressed. What should I be getting for speed? DL 30" 73# 405 grn arrow. Could not run through the chrony as it is broken. Did run it over the radar chrony and got 313, 309, 310, and 314. I do not put much store in the radar chrony so I guess I'm just looking for opinions.

Congrats on the Judge. But, man-law requires pictures!
Those speeds sound slow. At a 30" DL and that draw-weight, I'd expect 330s. What's on the string?

3/16 Meta peep and string loop

So, about 15 grns. of stuff on the string. I'd guess you should be around 325 fps. Probably a smidge higher.

I am going to do some playing tomorrow and try to fix the chrono. I would post pics if I was more computer literate.

Got to play some more today. A to A was off by 3/8" and brace height was off by 1/4". Got it to spec and it shoots quieter and nicer, but still no working chrono.

Good deal, Im sure once you play with it, you will have it screaming, if its quieter and smoother that means its more efficient and putting more into the arrow.
enjoy the bow.greenwithenvy

Does anyone know where the cams should be in relation to the timing marks for 30" draw?
