This is a neat link to a web cam that is currently watchin a black bear in hibernation..Her name is Lily..sometimes are slower then others but she moves around the den and goes out for food ..she just had a cub last week..pretty cool thought Id share www.bear.org

Thanks for the link. The center is a pretty neat place in Ely Minnesota. Actually been there and have a friend that occasionally does work there. Nice to see others finding the place. Its between Duluth and International Falls.

Neado...I thought Lily was out for lunch until the ground started breathing. I wish we could push some kind of button to make her move more.:)

Pretty neat, hey cord maybe we can get them to add that button to the site. You could go volunteer to poke her with a stick whenever the button gets pushed:pop2:

:toothless: ...mama bears are usually super friendly when they have cubs right?:noidea: Im up for it...I'll let everybody know a few hrs in advance before I enter the cave with my stick.:)

I actually saw her turn Sunday morning ...saw her face and what I think was the cub..mornings seem more active


shes making noises now...or someone is..maybe Cord's there?

The camera is much clearer now...Lily is still sleeping...and we still need a button to activate a stick jab.:)

Late afternoon as well as evening, 6-7ish. Been checking in quite a bit the last week or so, very cool when they are active.
