I just set up my GT for 3-D & I shoot with a Scott Silver Horn & got a TRU Ball Xtreme 3 finger . I got close to the bag & the first shot was great! I like the way this thing was feeling. On shot #2 I was at 1/4 draw & all I here was thud. I looked & the jaw was still closed & I looked at the loop & saw pull through marks. Can I make the jaw close or do I need to use a larger loop?

O I lost an arrow:thumbsdown:

Thanks

how old is the release? i had the same problem, used a extreme release for many, many years. finally the jaws wouldnt hold and the loop would slip through. Might call tru ball and ask them about it, they might be able to help you.

I am thinking of buying a truball. I dont care how old a release is if it does that the company better fix it> let us know what you find out.

I have two of them and have the same problem...sometimes it scares me to use them. They are over a year old but one is a back up and has less than 50 arrows on it. Im going to call truball tomorrow and hope to get some help.

When I first got one it would slip every now & again. I took it back to where I bought it & he made a slight adjustment with a set screw. Checked on the bow scale with a loop & I never had another problem. This was about 7 or 8 years ago. It's still my backup now.
