Basicly the biggest differnce is one is more rounded cam. GTO
Other has the rev. cam (GT500)and it has more conventional pull to it. GT500 I believe has a better back wall because of the draw stops.
Some are saying you put a draw stop on the GTO

In my experience, the biggest difference is noise. The GT is quieter.

This is purely esthetic. The shape of the gto cam is not indicative of the "way" it draws. Its the furthest thing from a round wheel bow that you'll find.
In my opinion the rev cam which appears more aggressive is actually a bit tamer (smoother) than the '08 3 track binary.

Honestly the GTO is closet thing I have found to the older round wheel bows I use to shoot when I shot a Hoyt years ago. One of the main reasons I dropped $700.00 on buying it. I just purchased an XXL for this reason. More like a round wheel cam.
Rev Cam is more aggressive like the conventional hard shooting cams.
I do agree the GT500 is quieter.

You will get as many different opinions as archers on here about the differences.
Main thing for me is the draw cycle. AT 30 inches the GT is smoother then he GTO. also dont over look the preload on the limbs. Less likely to have splinters develop from the GT500. Both are great bows. 30 inch Dl seems to be tougher on bows then the shorter draw lengths.

I own both, the rev cams are smoother and slower. Did I mention harder to tune as well.
The round cam on the GTO is just for looks, look at the cable tracks to see how the draw will be. Its more aggressive than rev cams.

I couldn't disagree more, look at the cable tracks, not the cam shape

Agree with this too but would extend the concept across most draw lengths. The rev cam is smoother than a gto cam and the Z cam is even smother than a rev cam.
What the rev and Z give up in the ability to store energy you get back in a more pleasant draw experience.

i will take smoother draw. thats more important than a few FPS, especially considering i have a 30" draw length.

I have both and set at 65# the GTO draws easier and easily just as smooth!! GTO is louder and a little more vib on the shot but the Rev cams are not any smoother!

The efficiency ratings of the cams tells the story.
I think a finely tuned set of the bows will be within a couple FPS.

You are correct. It took awhile but the GT500 is within 5fps of the GTO..and feels smoother to me
