You guys will probably think this is nuts. I missed a nice buck once cause I had to shoot at a goofy angle and my string almost ripped my sleeve and armguard off. I've always hunted with an armguard but once it gets cold the sleeve still sometimes gets in the way. No more, I turned out my STS which I don't need on this bow anyway and the string cannot hit my sleeve. Funny thing is though it also kind of helps me with my hold, it's really hard to torque any bow when you have this resting on your forearm. It's almost like another anchor point. You heard it first here.

I would think you could torque the bow easy. and the bigger the coat the more torque. Have you tried it alot?
And I wonder if a longer DL would make it worse?
You may be on to something though.

Actually I adjusted it to my regular position for my grip, it stops me from torquing the bow not enhances it. I did this in the middle of the summer and it really helped my consistency. I really have to hammer the trigger to get a left or right.

I think thst is funny my buddy also did the same thing b/c he aslways hits his arm with the string.. He turned the sts so it sits right against his forearm and also became a better shot.. Maybe we are on to somenthing here..

What we need is for someone to make a mount for an STS that has two holes side by side so that you could have two STS's on one mount. One goes to the string the other for an arm guard.

For that matter , why not have it strap to your arm! ****, why not attach a grunt tube too!

Wouldn't it be effected by different clothes? One day I go hunting its 50 degree's the next its 20 degree's, big difference in the amount of clothes.

Well my temps range here from 20's in the a.m to 70's in the afternoon at times. I use thin layers and then a thick overcoat for the mornings. The STS seems hard enough to feel through my coat so I can still get an idea about if I'm holding differently. I don't have any pressure against my arm when I have thin clothing on and I've shot it with my coat on and not had any trouble. Can't hurt to give it a try and obviously shoot it with your coat on to make sure .
