Does anyone use Carbon Revolution Speed Pro Max arrows 5.5 or 6.2's?????? How do you like them and where can you get a great deal on these arrows?????

I tried a dozen of the 6.2's with my old bow-tech pro 38. I gained right at 40fps which was great, but they are very stiff and brittle, and they break very easy. If you miss or shoot through a target, they will break nearly every time. I shot one deer and 2 coons and got pass throughs on all 3 animals and the arrows broke when they hit the ground. I had about the same kind of luck with them on 3-d's too.

they are great for speed but thats about it. they are very brittle so they break really easy. i only use them for 3-d, but dont miss b/c no matter what happens your arrow is trashed. the other thing i dont like is you have to glue the knocks in.

I got 13- 3575 5.5 grain Speed Pro's i'd sell if someone wants to try them. Much cheaper than new and you can decide for yourself if you like them! I'm shooting the 45-85 6.2 grain ones out of my GTO as soon as i get it set up.

yeah,i went through a dozen of them speed pro's in a couple of weekends.tight groups side shots, not good.i like the carbon x-weaves they might not be as fast as the pro's ,but the are very strong and durable.i have shot the 100's with 75 grain tips,70#gto,28",at 358 per/sec.thats not to bad.good luck!

The speed pro's are super fragile don't think your going to shoot through any brush at that 3-d. Any side impact and the shaft explodes or miss a target and same thing. I like victorys super straight and tuff too plus there + or - a half grain throughout the entire dozen that is hard to beat!!

Got a chance to shoot my GTO with the Speed Pro 6.2's and they really shoot good and tune perfect to my bow set at 63lbs. The arrows are really light, and i have them longer than needed to be able to stay a 5gn/lb and stay just above 60 pounds. They are real stiff, and seem to be durable. The 5.5's would be too light for anyone trying to stay above the 5grn/lb mark unless you dropped into the lower 50's for weight.

Do they actually come out of the bow faster? All things being equall (weight that is) will they shoot faster? and if so how much?
Thanks,

Can't really say as they are the only arrow i tried so far, but they sure do seem like one great arrow. I haven't shot them into anything real hard and hope not to, but the bags i shot them into sure didn't care for them as it sounded like someone hitting them with a hammer lol! I'll also be trying some victory arrows soon. Good luck finding the CR's though, i put my 5.5's up for sale and sold them in like half a day and no one stocks new ones anywhere it seems?

In my opinion these arrows are great if you take care of them.. I have been shooting them for a while and found that if you flex them all the time and check for cracks etc u will have great luck with them.. Now some people do not like them b/c u cant shoot them through a concrete wall but I have shot them through deer, rabbits and even killed a fox with them this year and dident have one break.. I also am verry anal about my stuff so I take the tim to go over everything before I use it each time.. NJBUckBuster

That 100 at 28" was spined about right for a 50# bow wasnt it? Thats an awfully light spine for 70#. Be carefull bud.
