I have bad news for you Christina, we boys don't get any less accident prone when we get older either. My wife says I'm an accident just waiting to happen, just like my Dad.:noidea:

Its okay...chicks dig scars. At least that what I've been told. Hope it heals up fast for him.

Im not buying his story... You dont bust a knee wide open like that from a simple fall. Thats a nasty slash...im surprised it only took 8 stitches. Has he snitched on anybody lately? Anyhow, beat the truth out of him!...he'll respect you for it later.:thumb:

I too couldnt believe he got this from falling, but he did, they say he must of went down with alot of force..He did say he was curving around getting ready to intercept but tripped...you should see the before stitches picture..I actually told him to just sit next to me for alittle on the bleachers the game was soon over..but then I noticed his dark jeans were all wet at the knee and decided we needed to get a band aid...when we got to the consession stand to ask for one he pulled up his pant leg and :jaw: I decided a band aid wasnt gonna cut it...so we got the ambulance workers on duty to wrap it up and I took him to the ER...I too think the DR could have stitched it alittle better

That is the most wicked 'fall' cut ive ever seen. ...but at the same time when I think of Philly, I think of litter and street thugs chucking empty liquor bottles onto the fields where kids play. You know "the mean streets of Philly".:noidea:
Anyhow, get him back out there ASAP. He sounds like a tough kid...there's no shame in loading him up on vicodin and a cortisone shot to kill the pain. Eitherway, he cant miss another game because of a laceration...this story will resurface one day when talking to college recruiters! Trust me, im a mentor.:thumb:

I have been trying for what seems like years to have Cordwood take me under his wing as my mentor. When he gives advice it would be wise to follow it.
