Smeagol stopped by the shop tonight and decided to shoot my range. As we were getting close to closing, the shop slowed down enough for me to shoot a little with him. He challenged me to shoot at a little piece of tape and bet me a dollar. Always looking for an opertunity to win a little gas money, I accepted....THEN IT HAPPENED!!! Smeagol beat me for a dollar. His arrow was closer to the tape then mine. He then challenged me for the old double or nothing and ...THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!!! he won again. I lost a whole two dollars. The student has surpassed the master and I am proud. So if you will all join in and respond with an

He once paid for a trip to Illinois to hunt trophy deer with the same scam he pulled on you. Didn't you know????

Yea, yea, yea!! They were just lucky shots, don't read too much into Mike's post!! Besides, I poked him in the leg with my arrow when he shot! :)

I heard there wasn't even any shooting involved, but in fact Smeagol actually paid M.P. the $2 to come on here and post that story...:)

I also wonder how big the peice of tape was and what the yardage was, maybe you both need to practice more, lol.

Just funnin' of course.

Mike was shooting a PSE Money Maker with fingers and a pin sight. Plus he is recovering from a trip to the hospital yesterday...so he isn't into his regular form to say the least! I had my GT500 with my Hogg+Black Eagle scope.

We were shooting 20 yards at a little piece of tape, about the size of a pinky finger nail.

To get even, I bought a dozen Easton FMJ Axis arrows from Mike. Oh, and I bought a Judge from Mike as well. After giving me the family discount, he took an additional $2 off. Stinker!

He's going to make sure Dean keeps his hands off of her until I get to the shop. I want to be the first to un-box the new toy! :)

Mike: don't forget to order the black Limb Driver for the Judge!! :)
