I just received the GT 500 and I think it's totally awesome. I decided to draw it back with my hand and I felt something like a click. When I let it back down I heard a fairly loud "tink" or a "pop" whatever you want to call, and I did it once more and the same thing happened. I can feel it when I get about the bow about a 1/4 of the way to full draw, and it makes noise at about the same time when I let the bow back down. I don't see the cams hitting the limbs anywhere, and it's not the cable slide either.
Any suggestions or recommendations? I don't want to make an issue of it, but I don't want something to fail either.
Thanks,
jc

I would take it to your dealer. Check the limbs in the pockets make sure there in all the way. check the Rocker/pivots make sure there both there and have some lube on them.

Well, I had my pro shop take a look at the cams and did not find a single bur or anything wrong with them. All screws are nice and tight. Drew it back and felt something bigger about a quarter way in to drawing it back, then when I let it down, it seems like the click is getting louder. What should I do. I think the GT would be awesome for an all around bow, but maybe I need to give Elite a call.
Any other ideas??? I tried all that people have said to do and the noise it still there.
Thanks for everyone's help!:D

I sent you email as well - it sounds like your cables are coming off from the track. Give us a call at 1-877-503-5483.

Did your Pro shop check what Rick stated to look at? It sound like it is in this area to me.

Happened on my Synergy, top limb rocker had pushed all the lubricant up and out of the pocket. took the limb off, re-applied the lube back down in the pocket. no more loud click.
