We caught these Flats a week ago Thursday - the big ones are 24lbs each.
We went last Saturday night and caught a 15,two 8's, and a 5 lb'r.
I'm going to try to stock the freezer for this winter!
Was going to go tonight but decided to fry some up and watch UFC 101.

Flat heads and blues are my favorite cat fish, can't beat um with a stick. Like hooking up with a moving freight train when they take that piece of bluegill

Thats some big bait! I usually cut a 5" bream up into about 3 pieces...or cut slits into a tiny one and use the whole thing. But im mainly targeting bluecats...
Whats kind/size of hook and line?

We run 20lb. big game with 80lb. leader a #4 wide gap lazer eye hooks and I think my friend poured 3 or 4 ounce weights. We fish below dams and there are a lot of rocks and you'll get broke off pretty easy without a leader.
