I wish that was the scenario, but truthfully, I am new to archery & I still need to buy my first bow. I am going to get an Elite. I have shot alot of the new top line bows out there, but the Envy felt really good & after doing much research, I am hooked on Elite. I want to shoot the other Elite bows, including the GTO to see which one(s) I will purchase.:D

I will be designing a bunch of avatars this weekend for us Elitists & will post a link where you can grab one. I have to figure out a way to do this, so that everyone will not use the same avatar, but will have their own unique one. :D

Don't get caught up in the speed game. A few fps may not be what is best for you. Pick one that feels good to you. Get it set up by a qualified shop for correct draw weight and length first and formost. I would not even send an arrow through a chrono for a while. Get your shot sequence down, learn the basics, then worry about speed. I, like the rest of you, do not know the specs of the GTO, but it may not be begginer friendly.

I only mention this, because I don't want to see you get started on the wrong foot, then quit.

i second that. speed bows usually have a low brace height and are much harder to pull and shoot accurately.buy the bow that fits you best no matter what the speed. you will learn that speed isnt everything.

That is a good idea. I will do several & leave them blank. Then I can add whatever text each individual wants. Some may have the same exact graphic, but the text will make it more personal (name or model of bow, etc..):D

I wonder if the GTO will have all the copper/gold coloring that the Envy had or will look more like the Synergy XT.

I held and shot a GTO today, and yesterday and the day before that, and the day before that...........:D:D:p:p Sorry I couldn't resist. I been shooting one for a few months. Love it.

I will tell you that the GTO has a smoother draw than an Envy, has 80% let-off, Envy had 68%. The GTO is F....r than an Envy:eek: Q.....r than an Envy, and the specs are .../. ata, with a / inch brace, mass weight /.//lbs, and an IBO rating of ...fps @ 70# 30"

I know some of you want to kill me now. I probably think this is funnier than you do:p:p:p

You should hook up with L-train and go on tour. :D

If we took the Elite L-train on tour, which one of use gets to be the conductor.

Maybe we should just take a greyhound bus!

If we took the Elite L-train on tour, which one of use gets to be the conductor, I think L-train should shovel the coal in so we don't run out of steam.

Maybe we should just take a greyhound bus!

You may want to read one of L-trains posts about blowing the whistle and then edit that comment.

Kevin, that is funny.......... for you....However, for the ones considering your new bow versus another bow, it doesn't make sense or seem fare to not at least post the specs. That alone with tell some folks whether or not they are going to consider the GTO. JMHO!

That was funny in a sick, twisted way!:D

What is the date for information release?

What is the date for information release?

I'm sure it will happen pretty soon. The main thing any company doesn't want to do is to release information before they are 100% sure it's going to be what will move the company forward. The worst thing that could happen is to give details about something and then have to take it back :o
