bottom limb split WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How the :jaw: What the:jaw: Tell mate how do you split the limb on a brand spanking new bow not to mention a Barnsdale limb at that. What happened, do not tell me you had it in a bowpress for installing peep & snap crackle pop or something silly like that. Please do tell.

This is bad luck. But limbs are man made and this can happen. it is a inconvenience but take it to your dealer. I'm sure Elite will send one out fast. sometimes a guy cant win for losing. but the bright side is Elite has the best customer service available. they will fix you up.:shakehands:

If there is problem with the bow, they will make it right. I have nothing but praise for their customer service, 2nd to none!
Any bow can have problem, sounds like you have one that has it...keep the faith, they will leave you smiling.

Sorry to hear that, but I am sure that it is a fluke. I have had an XT that I sold to a buddy. It has 500 shots and no problems, my GTO is maxed out and it has 500 shots already with no problems, and a buddy had a Synergy that had no problems.. Elite will take care of you.
I bought a new Might Mite from Bowtech years ago, and the first month I had it I had to replace 2 sets of limbs, and the third time they sent a new bow. It happens, but with man made products you have to except that there will be some defects at times.
Good luck.

Now days we want faster and faster and faster. The preoad on these limbs no matter what, who when where they are made eventually a limb will fail. I have had 2 sets of limbs fail. One set was an 05 Allegiance, which was notorious for this. The other was my Mace last year, Barnsdale limbs. They all can fail and more than likely will at some point. I find it hard to believe the speeds can keep going up without seeing more of this. Price you have to pay for the speed.

I enjoy mine and don't worry about stinking limbs. I personally think people worry to much about this issue. We all have a warranty, and even if we don't, limbs are pretty cheap considering how important they are to the bow. 156.00 TYD from BD

I have had 6 sets of limbs crack over the past 5 or 6 years. All under warranty. It happens, but you move on. My best advice is always have a back-up even if it is an old cheap bow.
