Our shop got our first '08 Elite in today, the Synergy XT.....Horrible is all I can say. I work part time for this shop, and I had hopes of shooting one this year. Uhhh, no.
I do want to say though, it does have some fine attributes. It is a SHARP looking bow, VERY quiet, very quick, and no hand shock/vibration at all. That's where it stops though. That thing pulls like a freight train, and this is the part I just could NOT believe.....
BOTH CAMS ARE RUBBING THE INSIDE OF EACH LIMB!!! Please tell me we got one that is just somehow messed up, like the upper limb is in the lower pocket.....SOMETHING....Tell me they aren't really made this way....

Actually, there is alot more to say than horrible. How about nothing at all, untill someone figures out what happened. How about, can I get a RA.
Here is a good question, How do you know how it shoots and draws? I don't believe I would draw a bow in that condition. And I for sure don't want a tech that would touching my equipment! If it pulls like a freight train, send it to me, I will replace the cummins in my Dodge with that Elite.
Don't take this wrong, it is not a personal attack on you, but this should have been handled a little better. We are all adults and know that even Elite can make a mistake, what matters is how they, and you for that matter, handle this.

you sure you didn't mean 500,000 stock
with a pay roll of 2,500 a week and only 50,000 in stock means there is nothing hanging on the walls. You would have to turn entire stores inventory 20 times to keep that pay roll at the min. And if you think about it why would you need a staff with that little of inventory. what could you buy with that 20 bows some arrows and archery accessories, and you would still be short on a lot of items.
I own a hardware store and my pay roll is about 2,500 and I have to turn my inventory 4 times a year to keep it open pay my employees and make a living. My inventory is close to 600,000

My synergy extreme came in a bit off. It was a 1/4th inch short axle to axle, 1/8th off in brace and the cams were off by a good 1/4th inch. I get the axle to axle set, the brace is perfect and got the cams in sync. After doing so, it pulled a lot better and I gained some speed. It is still a pretty stiff draw, but smooth all the way back. I love the way it shoots though, the groups I am getting are great. I am actually shooting it better than my target bow.

I had no intention of posting anymore, but out of compelete fairness I believe it is owed....
To make a long story short, the draw stop was in the wrong spot for the cam, and when that was moved the draw cycle became MUCH better. It's still pretty harsh, but hey.....those speeds gotta come from somewhere, right? ;)
The cam/limb thing is still an issue, I would really like to see one w/out that problem.....BUT....after shooting it again today 3 times, and depending on the next one I see......I began talking today about ordering one.
I will repeat that the thing that IMMEDIATELY caught my attention was how quiet it is. When I shot it, the only thing installed was a rest......There was some string vibration after the shot, but quality string silencers should take care of that.
I know I ruffled some feathers, and I certainly got off on the wrong foot......But if it's ok, I would like to hang around for a while and see what I might learn about these bad boys....

My brand new dually dropped a fuel pump with only 51 miles on it, but I didn't go to the Dodge forum and let everyone know. I called the dealer, they sent a tow truck (not big enough though) took it back and replaced the part, now I am a happy camper. The bio-diesel does not have enough lubrication qualities. Injection pumps, cost too much for me to use that stuff. Yes, the new duramax does cost that much! I couldn't even get a gas burner Chevy for what I paid for my Dodge. Also, I prefer the in-line six of a V8 engine.... more torque.

I've got an Allison tranny in mine and they are top notch. I heard that Dodge will soon be getting a Mercedes diesel and that Cummins would evetually be going in Fords. Is the Power Stroke a CAT engine or an International Harvester?....Disclaimer...this is only what I heard so its 2nd hand info.
TEXAS
Power stroke is an International engine. The F-650 (mini semi) is available with a cat, but the truck I want has an $80,000.00 price tag. I would not forsee the Cummins going in the Ford, or Dodge going with a mercedes engine. The Cummins is the biggest reason so many Dodge trucks are purchased. I know everyone thinks Ford owns Cummins, but that is not the case. At one time Ford owned a large portion of Cummins stock, but that has changed over the last few years too.

Yeah, I'm not sure Elite and Dodge should even be mentioned in the same thread......All this Dodge talk belongs in the Mathews forum....:D

Well lets see:
Own my own shop-$200,000
Stock my own shop-$50,000
Pay my employees-$2,500 wkly
Part time employee posts online that the bows I sell are crappy without my permission, or without calling the manufacturer-Priceless
Now that is funny!
My XT shoots very well, the cams don't rub and it is very quiet.
