Used one simular to what scott is offering for my hunting rig for years. Can double for your 3d sight in the summer. PLace whatever aperture you want on it. Just remove the pins and shoot one pin. Very easy to move with deer approcahing ans set for exact yardage. I ususally set it for 25 yrds. Hold the pin high or low.

Just a thought

Other wise HHA makes the best one pin sights on the market Just my opionion

Never been a fan of Trophy Ridge stuff, too much plastic for me, they market a lot and that's about the good of it.

If you are looking for a slider, I really like the Sure-Loc Lethal Weapon MAX. You can put a single/multi pin housing on it. You can even put a scope on it.

If you are open to other sights, my current FAVORITE is a Spot-Hogg Hogg Father (http://www.spot-hogg.com/products_hogg_father.shtml). I love this sight!!! I have a Black Eagle scope on my Hogg Father....the nocks on my arrows have never known such fear!

I own a TruGlo, which I will not recommend you; brightness is good, but too much plastic, it will not withstand some serious number of arrows through it I am afraid. Nice to have the tritium pin and glowing aperture ring, but that´s all talks about it.
I don´t know the CBE model that Daniel B. suggested, but I do own a CBE Quad Lite with a big ammount of arrows on its back and still is perfect; I am glad I took Daniel B. in consideration years back!

Sword makes a single pin slider....and, as with all the Sword sights, it's all metal. The movement on it is really nice, no way it can fail, wiggle or anything else.
Also, you can get it with the single pin scope or a pin housing, so you can have multiple pins and the ability to slide it...

If I were in the market for a good slider I'd probably lean towards that new Sword.

Not to rock the boat but im going along with Jmaro. the new spot hogg sights are a cut above anything on the market.. I got the New hogg father and yeah it was not cheap but its hands down the best sight I have ever handled..

If it needs to be a true slider, the Sureloc blows away any Sword or HHA, much more vert adjustment.
Im sure the New Hoggs are great but they are heavy, The CBE tek hunter 3 is best of ALL worlds.

Don't mean to hi-jack, but what vendors would you guys recommend looking at for the cbe stuff?

I use HHA. Very bright pin and the rheostat can dim it if necessary. I have both the slider and the wheel and prefer the wheel. The wheel can be reset if you change rest or nock height or move your peep. That is a nice feature.

With the Titan V-Drive, you can not check your yardage setting while at full draw because it is on the side and near the front of the sight. Easy to double check the HHA.

I think Lancasters carry the Scott products.
DB

I would contact Scott and ask them. They may sale direct.

Scott does sell direct. I just got a Tech hunter from them yesterday and so far I love it. I got 4 pins set at 30-60yds with the quick ability to fine tune for less than 30 or set it for the hail Mary shot out to 110yds.

I use the Cosmic Impact aperture on mine. Bright and easy to see. My sights an older CBE 3dxl whicdh is basicly the same thing only Scott did it right. No telling how old my sight is. You cant wear a CBE out.

Man...I think the Sure-loc slider is hard core over rated.

Sword centurion for $160 is a far better value.

Never had any CBE fail me in all my years. Miss Joe and Sandy though. Joe was true craftsman. Glad to see Scott archery keeping the qaulity great.

Ya'll have too much money to spend... I use a super lightweight single slider by Vital Gear... It's superlight, easy to adjust and doesn't cost a fortune... They also make one called the startrack which also is a slider that uses fiber optics for yardage marks.... check them out!

I have the VBG star trac on my gto, it's all metal and a pretty good hunting sight IMO. Only trouble with mine is the level isn't quite level.

Sureloc. It is pricy, but a very accurate and adjustable sight. I can put a sight tape on mine and get out to 185 yards before I run out of sight adjustment room. Now... before anyone says anything, no I do not hunt out to that kind of yardage, but just to show how accurage it is, Printing out a sight tape on TAP, it will put an arrow in the foam at that distance. If I could aim fine enough, I'm sure it would hit the mark. I do use it for archery golf, and it is accurate to those distances. Longest hole in 1 is 130 yards. I have seen the Boss Hogg, it looks good, but it is big and bulky and heavy compared to the Sure loc. I haven't seen the Sword, I have seen other Sword sights and they are built well, but based on what the paper punchers around here shoot... Sure Loc!!!! Look at the Sure Loc Sportsmans Special. It has 2nd and 3rd axis adjustments as well.

Does it have micro windage adjustments? Can you mount a side quiver?
Thanks,
