Do you prefer blazers on your arrows and why??I went with them but may go back to standard 4 in. veins.

I like blazers but this past year I shot the duravane predators and also liked them. This year I think I'm going to try the FOB's.

Blazers are great, shorter, stiffer, more durable, lighter, faster and shoot the same as a 4in!!!
I think that sums it up...

Blazers for me except I like the Mini Blazers and fletch 4 of them at 90 degrees. Talk about spin:jaw:

I am a blazer guy. I really haven't shot anything else but I would be willing to try.

imo blazers are junk. for one they are a pain to get to glue tight to shafts and they flew like crap for me. ill stick with quickspin st's and dura vanes. they both work awesome.

Yes...I have shot Silver Flames, NAP Hellrazors and G5 Strikers with great success using the Mini's. I know L-train and Jerry/NJ also use this combination with great results.

Yup:homer:
I like the quickspins control but way too much drag at long ranges. 4 minis is the best Ive found.

You guys fletch those four minis with a offset or helical of any kind?

Offset here! I think Jerry uses helical.

The regular Blazers are 2" and the Mini's are 1.5". I fletch them with a slight offset. Pretty tough to get a helical with that small of vane.

1.5" that would be a pain to try & get a helical out of. I currently use the 2" & to get a better helical i have been using a hair dryer to slightly heat them up before putting them onto the shaft & it has worked not to badly. Still trying a few different experiments on it to try & find the best combo with the Blazers. As for the Quickspin, great idea but the are a little noisy if you hear one when standing down field when someone shoots them. Great action all the same on the Quickspins. I will stick with the Blazers as the Quickspins are a ridiculous price over here.

I have shot alot of different vanes this last year to try to decide on the best for me. For me the two inch Blazers stabilized my 125 gr Shuttle T's the best. With both the Vane-tec and Duravanes the arrow flew like a SIDEWINDER. With the Blazers it flew as straight as a....well you know.

I like the Blazer vanes but I also shoot Duravanes and feathers depending on arrow configuration.

blazers work well for me I always shot 4" feathers until this year shot steelforce broadheads out to 60 yards with the blazers no problem.

another one for blazers. i switched from duravanes to blazers last year. i have no complaints. thinking about trying fobs this year, but i read on another post that some people can't get used to the different anchor.
