Marketing or advertisement! Just what got your attention to try an Elite?
For me it was from shooting a friends bow who owned a XXl and I shot it.
Never forgot how well it it felt to shoot.

Same thing, shot a GT at an archery tournament and thought, whoa, this is sweet. Started doing research and thought I would give them a whirl. Now own three and am looking at an AT Z-28, that will complete the 09 lineup for me.

Shot my buddies 07 synergy and couldn't get the speed and feel of the shot out of my head. They came out w/ the GTO in 08 and I had to have one.

A good friend of mine, the german wholesale importer, gave me a call.
He said: You are a single cam fan. I will send you a bow.
So I got my AIGIL. :D
Last year, I was on the road for a new FITA bow and found the XXL.
Incredible results with that bow!
Therefore now my XLR. Best long axle bow I ever shot in the last
25 years of compound shooting.
Last weekend on a 3-D range. 2 guys with an AM35 tested my XLR.
The 2 AM35 are on ebay Germany, since tuesday. :D

Was in The Archery Shop one day and Bill had a GT500 set up. Started shooting it and could not put it down. I ordered one before I left the shop. I shot Martin for 20 years. I have a XLR on order and can not wait to get it in my hands.

I was looking for a new bow, had read a little bit about Elite on At and found out who my local dealer was. Went to his shop and shot the owners Envy and that was all it took. It was great looking, fast, smooth and shock free, I ordered a GTO the same day!

To be honest, I had an '06 BT Allegiance and loved it, and when I felt the way the '07 Allegiance shot I was confused. Then when I learned of the existance of K.S. and that I was shooting his design in the '06 Ally, I started looking into where he was at . . . . . . . . . . this in turn led me to Elite. I love the way the bows he designs shoot.
So I guess, if by some strange turn of events he ever went to design for any other bow company, and put out bows that resembled Elite's, then I would probably follow. What can I say? He designs a good bow! I only shoot what feels best to me!

My son, who I steeped in archery since he was a babe, called me and informed me of a new line of bows I needed to investigate that he was bringing on as a new line where he works up north. Since I could not find them in my area I had him "check" ie shoot the different models for me since he would KNOW what I was looking for in a bow and trusted his input. I also read these forums for awhile and then bought the GT500 sight unseen. Gamble???? Maybe....but a dang good one that I surely don't regret!! :)

1) Brace height
2) Axle length
3) Physical weight
4) Got a good deal on a left over 2008
I had never shot one and did not have a place to go try them out. I found a good deal on a new one and the brace height and AtoA where just what I was looking for and I haven't regreted it yet.

In the fall of 06 I found them hanging in a local archery store, asked to look at it and was sold the second I grabbed the grip. I love how consistent they are between bows.

The dealer that I go through exclusively for all my bows asked me to take a look at them. He knows what I tend to like and I'm looking for. All he had in stock at the timee were 2 GT 500's at 28" draw length , 1 at 60# and 1 at 70# I shot the 60 and was impressed wth the feel even though I was shooting it chicken winged. So I took a leap of faith and ordered a new XLR in January I'm still waiting for the bow but I am sure it will meet my expectations.

Read all the hype about Elite on AT and found a good deal on a 08.5 z28 so I decided to shoot it, two shots and I was sold. :)
Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems "Marketing and Advertisement" is almost nonexistent. In fact where does Elite advertise? I can't remember seeing a magazine ad or television commercial? It's a testament to the bows that Elite has such a loyal following as they do considering the lack of a major marketing campaign compared to Hoyt, Mathews, Bowtech or PSE.

Well, Made here in my home state was part of the reason. and the fact the bow I was shooting had some problems so I looked for a better limb and heard about Elite. so in 06 I jumped in and been happy since. Now I guess I need to move because Im not changing brands. LOL! The designer still lives here thats good enough I guess.

Back in '05 I was looking to buy a new bow, I had been shooting Bowtechs and a Martin for a couple of years prior. I bought an '06 Allegiance because of the "Bowtech in the boonies" program, [same way I got the other 3 BT]. I had it in my head I would really like the Tribute but they were not yet available yet from HF. I read about Elites on AT and thought the E Force was just the ticket, better limbs, string ect. I shot A Switchback, Switchback XT, Trykon, Rytera, Tribute, Ross, Kodiak and maybe a couple more then went ahead and ordered the E Force from Elite direct. It took from may until august to get it but the first time I picked it up out of the box, knew they had made this grip just for me, the shooting was the icing on the cake. I have shot several other brands since but haven't found anything enough better in the overall package to make me buy another brand yet......?

I wanted a high poundage bow and th Synergy looked nice. By the time I placed the order it was a GT500 :)

I heard about the Elite on Bowsite.com as one of the members there was raving about his GTO. I looked up the Elite web site and started reading the forum. Join the forum shortly afterwards and ordered my GTO site unseen.
I had never seen shot or drawn and Elite.
Haven't looked back since.

I like to be different. For me it came down to the 101st and the GTO. I chose the GTO because I liked it a little bit more and I don't like to be like everyone else. I am more happy now than I was before. EAF is a great website and if I had purchased the 101st airborne I would still be going to the same dealer and would not be happy with the dealer. While on EAF I heard of this bearfoot guy, drove to his house, and now he will be the person I go to for all of my archery needs. The GTO alone didn't sell me on elite, it was the support and friendlyness that came along with it.

The last compound I bought before my Z was a brand new 1985 Martin Warthog. Went traditional in 1986 and hunted with stikbows through this past season. One day while in a treestand last fall I just decided that I wanted a change. Started researching like a madman, I have ocdd ya know, and the Elites just kept sounding better the more I learned. I settled on the Z because of ata and bh out of all the Elites. I shot most all the Mathews, the AM32, General, a few of the Tec line at Gander. I handled and simply put down without shooting a bunch of others. Found a deal on a new/ slightly used Z and I just jumped on it. I had never even picked one up, much less shot one. Oh well, my gut did not tell me wrong on this one! I am slowly letting myself be taught how to tweak it, Thank you Geno!, and am also slowly reprogramming myself on how to shoot. What a change, but what a joy. The deer better be on their toes this year. No more having to set up within spitting distance of where I expect my shots to come. Back to shooting about 1000 arrows/ week so I can get in "the zone" with it. I really thank all you EAF'ers for accelerating my learning curve! Enjoy.

I was looking for a new bow this year. went and shot all the new bows out this year mathews, ross ,bowtech ,hoyt, pse.
Shot them all a whole bunch couldnt decided between the mathews and bowtech. I seen the z28 sitting there and a whole bunch of people standing around it.
I asked him what it was and he said you dont want to shoot that. I asked why? he said because you will buy it. I shot it once asked to get the draw stops moved shot it again and bought it after that. he was right.
It only took two shots for me to decide compared to how much I shot the other bows. I wish I would have just shot it first.
They are just so smooth :)

If Elite bows were houses they have what is called "Curb appeal". They are visually striking but fortunately with a great face they also have the whole package, awesome feel and shootability. Whenever I show customers our Elites I get the same comment, "Whats Elite". I then explain the origins of the company and a brief history. Now that there are new owners I hope that some aggressive advertising is in their future. This is too good a product to not get the word out.

I shot bowtech for 7 years. they didn't make any longer ATA bows for tournament in my DL for 2009. That's why I tried Elite. Now I'm glad bowtech did that. That's why I went to my XLR. I shoot a 31.5" draw. I love it, shoots great.

Why did you choose the Elite as your bow?
Well at the time I was looking on every forum that I could to see what everyone was shooting or what every one was talking about and seems like everyone was/and still are talking about Elite bows. So I looked on the Elite website and figured out that Buffalo Jump Archery in Helena MT was my nearest Elite dealer. So one day I took a trip there, which is about 4 hrs south of me and I shot the Z-28 and GT-500. After I shot them I couldnt make up my mind as to what bow I wanted, cause I only had enough $$$ for one bow. After many return trips down to Buffalo Jump Archery, shooting alot of different bows and much research I went with the 2009 GT-500 simply because of the ATA but I really liked the Z-28 due to its forgiving nature....Im not saying that the GT-500 isnt forgiving either.
Oh and Im new to binary cam systems as well...so I'll be asking y'all tuning, cam syncing questions.

I started shooting in 2007 when I purchased my Elite E-Force NVG. It was a sweet bow. I liked it because not many people owned one. I owned the Synergy very briefly this past December and January, but got hooked on the Ninja looking GT500. I bought it and am really liking it big time.
I might actually keep this one more than six months!:dance3:

For me it was finding a bow that met my long draw length needs. I was pretty limited in what I had found and was about to buy the X-Force. I really did not like the X-Force but it was available in my DL. I went on a forum and posed a question, that question led me to here and I started reading about Elite. I bought my first on Ebay I found it as a mis -listed item it was lissted as a XXL bow, no mention of Elite or Archery I bought it as the only bidder for $425 That was in Dec. 08 I now have 8 Elite bows and have sold or traded of 4 other Elites to get where I am at.

For me ?
"I failed in love" when i saw a photo of the GTO, Alfred Tearle.
My first heart choice was the Fire but too short draw lengh... so i looked to the GTO .
Surprise : the name of this bow: GTO, sounded to me like a manga i do appreciate " Great Teacher Onizuka".
A sign ?
Inside of me the idea was growing... but i didn't want camo anywhere.
I promised to my self to buy it one day, but with black limbs, like the target finish.
Back from hospital, i looked again on the archery's website i discovered the GTO...
Surprise!!!!
All black, black riser with black limbs !!! My wish hapened !!!
Another surprise : the name of this "finish" : ninja !!! this was going so well with my "translation" of her name "GTO"
So, i phoned to dealer, and talk to him about a full hour... this "ll my first brand new bow i never had bough...
And today, i'm so happy of this choice ( i wont change my my GTO to anything ) and discovered and young but good company

For me it was, I was shooting a Apex 7 (good bow just could not get along with it) score were up and scores were DOWN and I already had the E-force hanging on my wall set up for hunting never gave it a look for my main bow of choice untill my friend would not stop telling me to try shooting 3d with and BAAMMMMM the scores went up and never looked back (for another bow) and to this day he still tells me that it was the biggest mistake of his life talking me into shooting my E-force cause now he gets ground into the floor every shoot and I can compete strong in national shoots

Not knowing what I wanted, I let a guy at Gander Mtn. talk me into it. I must admit, the bow shoots and feels great! Gander was set up to sell them, but they do not have anybody there that I have enough confidence in to work on them. The only pro shop in my area is not a fan of them either. Bowtech and Hoyt is what he pushes. The only "Elite Dealer" in my area is over an hours drive away. But listening to how some of you guys drive hours to get yours, I really can't complain. If I had it to do all over again, I probably wouldn't have got my Elite. I love my Synergy and I think it's a great bow, if not one of the best! But for someone just getting into this, I think I would have been better suited to by from my local pro shop..

I'll admit, first thing that turned me onto Elite was word or mouth through the internet forums, first Bowsite then AT.
I was in the market for a new bow for this season. I'm not a multiple bow owner and typically get a new one every 4-5 years. Last two bows were an AR34 Ram and a Half and a Darton Maverick.
I've never liked single cam bows and never a Matthews fan. I use my bow for bowhunting exclusively and I wanted a fast, forgiving smooth drawing bow. I was looking at going back to Darton and was looking at the Pro3000. I then read about Elite online and was liked the specs of the GT500. My nearest proshop did carry both models so I was able to compare both bows. Darton then revealed their '09 lineup and I narrowed down my two choices to the Pro2500S and GT500.
About that time the ATA show was coming and I figured I'd wait for the '09 lineup from Elite to see what would come out. I was also contemplating the Z28 the more I read up on user reviews. When the '09 Z28 specs came out I knew what I wanted. The slower speed didn't bother me much since I got the bow with #80 limbs.

I drove over 2 hours each way to try a GT500. I was looking for a second bow, and after reading much positive on the Elites, I decided to take a drive. The bow fit me perfectly and had a nice smooth draw. A much nicer draw than my Guardian. I was sold. This was after trying too many bows to list. The GT500 won for me. I'll have this bow for a long time.:magic:

I wanted a new bow. I went to the local archery store and he a Mathews, Bowtech,Elite, Bear, and a few others. The guy said the elite was the closest thing to a custom bow. Excellent fit and finish and shoots great. I handled one (didn't shoot it) and went home and found this page. Looked every thing over and went back later and ordered the XLR ninja. 29.5 @70lbs with a 358 arrow shot 309 today through the chrono. Oh I got the bow today after a wait. Like everyone said worth the wait. I just shot it a few minutes ago and I am pleased. Know to order the hats, shirts, black grips.:woohoo:

I was looking for another line of bows to handle and looked at the Elite 08 lineup at the ATA in January of 08 and shot them. They did not show substantial benefits over the BowTech binary bows at that time to sell them side by side with BowTechs. Nothing stood out with them. Being honest.
When they came out with the Rev two track cam with little to zero lean, I knew it would be a shooter at long range and easy to tune. A couple of guys brough it up for me to be a dealer and they would buy some, so I did.
I current shoot a 08.5 GT500 at 28" 62# and absolutely love the bow. It is set exactly 28" draw and is not one of the real fast GT bows, shoots 312 at 28" which is fine for me. I retarded the cams a bit because it seems to give it a bit more valley. I can just shoot the bow and it is easy to handle.
I believe, although the 09 Z bow is slower, that it is one of the best pure hunting bows available.
For me, it was the initial 2 track cam design. It is a shame that same cam design is on several bows now. Bummer.
