I have messed with this bow a little bit, and have the cams in sync, but I have encountered a few problems. While the cams are perfectly in sync and hitting the third timing dot, the A 2 A is about a 1/4 inch long. This is not that big of a deal, but the draw lenght is just about perfect, and the draw weight is hitting 65 lbs on 60 lb limbs. One thing that I have noticed also is with some work, the valley has gotten considerably longer, and it is droping down to 10 lbs when drawing 65 lbs. I have tried to twist the string and untwist the cables a few times, and it seems that the draw weight increases with this. I thought that it was supposed to decrease. I am very new to working on my bows, so any info would be greatly appreciated.
On the bright side, the bow shoots bullet holes with X-Cutters, and hold very nicely. I just need to find the right stab. to get those pins to settle down a little more.

Thanks
Bill

You sure you have 60lb limbs? When the axle to axle is long, you would need to add twists in to the cables, few twists would get you up to 70lbs though. These bows are pretty much right on in weight, maybe a couple lbs heavy when set to spec, which makes me wonder what limbs you have.
Just to be clear, your axle to axle is 37 1/4"??
Also, did you actually measure the draw, what is that measurement?

Yes, my A 2 A is 37 1/4, and I am pretty sure that I have 60 lb limbs. When it came from the factory, it maxed out at 62.5 lbs, but the cams were not anywhere near in sync and they were not even to the first timing dots. So I twisted the cables to get them around the 3 dot, but the draw weight jumped up to 65 lbs. So I put a couple of twists into the string to bring the weight back down, but it just kept increasing. I put the bow onto a drawboard and it is pulling about 1/2 inch long, but it feels great, only problem is the draw weight, and slightly long A2A. I realize that the A2A is approx., so I am not really worried about that, but the draw weight has me puzzled.

You need to take twists out of the cables to get the weight down, not add twists. Take the same amount out of both cables, this will lower the weight back down, and shorten your draw a bit. I would not worry too much about the axle to axle. Also, I would push the draw stops all the way back in the slots, after everything else is set, move them to where you want them.

That is what I was about to start doing, just kind of wanted to get a second opinion before I start to mess with it again.
Thanks

I wouldn't worry about what dot the cams hit on as long as everything else is in spec. My XLR barely hit's the first dot also and it shoots just fine there. When you added the twists to get to the third dot you added more preload to the limbs which is why they are pulling a couple pounds heavy.
You need to tune to peak weight first w/ cables, then draw lenght w/ string and then valley w/ draw stop. Trying to do everything at once i've found is near impossible.
