Well first of all, I've ordered an XT and didn't order an 07 :cool: That's the first difference. I haven't shot one but from what I have read the 07 cams were harsher and after a year of evolution they are now smoother and quite fast. The camo of course is different and it comes standard with an sts. I can tell you more in a couple of days when my XT gets here. I'm sure some on here can help.

I too would like to know how these two bows compare. I've only heard of one person actually shooting these side by side (I know there's got to be a **** of a lot more than that!), but he came to the coclusion that the Extreme was slightly slower, but felt about 10 lbs lighter on the draw. He also said the draw cycle in general is a lot smoother. Anyone else want to share their comparison?

I havent shot both of them but I was told from someone who has is that the Xtreme is a bit faster and a bit smoother on the pull. I trust this person alot so that is why I am looking at the XL or the Aigil....still trying to figure why I want a solo cam though?

i can understand that the xt would be smoother in draw b/c of the cams being almost a perfect circle in shape but since they are both rated the same ibo speed how can one be faster if both were set up exactly the same?

The person that told me this said it was 2 fps (a bit) faster. He kept his 2 '07's and is thinking about a GTO.

Jerry isnt that the Xl ? and dont you have the new xtreme ? can you tell us the difference in the 07 Synergy and 08 xtreme?

I am looking to buy an Elite Synergy. It seems the 07s are a bit faster from what I have seen posted and some of the shops still have new 07s in stock. Why should I pay $200 more for an 08. What's the difference?

I had an '07 Synergy. It was fast for sure, but to me at too great a price. The draw was harsh and it was too loud for me. I sold it in short order. The Xtreme is a far nicer bow. The draw is smooth, easier to pull at my same poundage and it is very quiet (mine has the full hush kit on it). Great bow, I actually like it better than my GTO.

The 07 is faster if tuned properly.The 08 syn xt is a hole diff. character it is smooth fast quiet and has a better camo pattern.The pull is not near as hard and is a joy to shoot the aftershot is noticably nicer and it holds on the target wonderfully.You cannot go wrong with any Elite bow I would say if i was going to spend my money and wanted the most I would have A GTO but if i wasnt worried about speed would be the
synergy xtreme.
