I am shooting an e500 and for some reason I am getting a consistent 3" nok right tear. I even went so far as to change the rest and had the same thing. In order to get a bullet hole I had to move my rest so far to the left that the arrow was pointing left about 20 degrees from center. I shot with different grips, draw lengths and releases and got the same results. I've never had a problem paper tuning before and am quite baffled. If you gurus out there can help, I'd appreciate it.
Thanx.

What arrow?? What length? And what weight point?
Have you changed the string and cables? If so which cable in on the shelf side of the riser in relationship to the cable rod, and which cable is in the long slot of the slide?
Where do the cables cross, above or below the cable rod?
Is you nocking point perpendicular to the string at brace?

Hi:
Assuming your cable/string/nock/center shot set up is correct, I had the same (very frustrating) problem with an Allegiance. Got a new set of limbs and the problem went away. Here's a suggestion: put the bottom limb on top and vice versa and retune the bow. If the tear changes you nost assuredly have a limb twist issue.

Here's the 2 set ups I'm shooting:
1st. e500 at 59 lbs, 28.5" with a d-loop.
2nd. e500 at 62 lbs, 29.5" using a gator jaw release.
Tiller is even, timing good, specs are good, nok is aligned and center shot was set up.
I have tried 3 different arrows:
1. a/c/c 3-60 at 28" with a 100 gr point and 3x4 max hunter vanes.
2. a/c/c 3-39 at 29" with a 70 gr point and no vanes.
3. Cheetah 45/70 with insert and 75 gr point and same vanes.
Both bows with all arrows gave me the same results. I took the string tamer off and still the same. I would be blaming my form but since I used so many different grips, grip pressure, anchor types and releases, I'm a bit confused.
The cables are set up like the fire on the website.
I will try switching the cables around and see if it helps. I did switch one set of limbs with another and got the same thing. I'll try switching the top and bottom out and see what happens there.I'm going to spend a few hours tommorrow night with this until I get it right. Thanx for the help.
