I need your help.
My dealer told me today that my new XL must come in each day.
Heck, I'm almost 40, shooting bow since 28 years but I never ever have been so excited getting a new bow.
I also have a Hoyt Katera XL on order but I don't care much how long that will take.
I have no idea at all what is so special on Elite bows that it keeps me from eating and sleeping as usual. There must be some kind of virus doing strange things to my mind.:)
So fellas, what have you done while you were waiting for your Elite bow?
Is there a recipe that kept you from getting crazy?

How do you think those of us waiting to try out the new bow and Silverflames feel?

Design and build a custom knife while you are waiting. Treat the blade just as you do the Silverflames. Those folks in Solingen do a very good job. I have a Carl Schlieper "German Eye" pocket knife that I carry.

Yesterday I made the 1.5" 150gr. at the computer.
Will do the 125gr. tomorrow and send the datas to my grinder for calculation of the tool costs.

Sweet Quickshot,,, i have #155 AT Black Envy that I absolutely love,, I've been shooting her now for some 6 months or so,, and to date I haven't found a bow I'd rather shoot,,,, I bought a 60lber and set it up with a HHA 5000 sight and Trophy ridge dropzone,, I shoot various arrows and have found that it's not onlyt quiet, but very very fast,,, I use an CSS custom string silencer, ultra 2 bowjax and sims limbs savers on teh limbs rather then teh Bowjax,,, the bow is quiet,,, I just ordered another set of strings and cables this past week from Wolfdenstrings,,, I'll keep you posted on how well they work,,, The Neally strings are awsome,, just couldnt afford a second set at 120.00 a pop,,,, Best of luck to you my friend,,, andy

Nope, I built myself a simple drawboard.
Now I need to get another bowpress since I still got an Apple Hercules.
Heck the Sure-Loc is expensive but at least I can get it in Europe.
Would like to try the ELP but shipping is probably as expensive as the press itself.
Okay, where is my welding torch?

Sometimes when things aren't really going your way, it's better to laugh than cry. I'm not really laughing at your problem. Just trying to relieve the tension.

I have been waiting for my 08 XL also. The way I pass the time is by shooting my 07 Synergy and thinking about how I will be happy when I recieve it.

The bow finally arrived at my dealer today and he shipped it instantly to me.
So with some luck, I will have it at the weekend.
Normally he is doing an "out-of-the-box-testing" everytime but after 4 inches of draw, he gave up. :D:laugh:
