I just got my tail handed to me at a shoot this weekend by a 2008 Z28....I'd say keep it.

I would wait since elite changes bow so much and they just changed owner, so who knows what will come out.

I dont think it would pay to trade, Your losing speed and BH on a bow thats already a good smooth hunting bow.
