How many on here are having problems with points/tips coming out of the x-ringers? I for one am getting a little tired of loosing tips from the arrows!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I use the victory points also!!!!. I've done everything short of taking them to a welding shop to get them to stay in. I really like the arrows, but this is ridiculuos!!!!!!!!!! :confusion: I just purchased 1 doz of the v5's, and the nock bushings are sloopy in them too. Why can't Victory make a shaft the same size all the time:question:. I had some older shafts that the points and bushings fit good and snug, not anymore. Let's see if they can do something about this!!!!!!!!!! I'm trying to stay with them, but this has GOT to stop soon!!!!!!!. Let's hear from others on this.

Do Easton's fit any better? Haven't got mine yet but plan on shooting Easton inserts and G nocks and adapters.

I can't comment on the newer Victory arrows, but the older ones stunk as far as component fit was concerned. It was so bad, I've been gun shy to try anymore to see if they're better now. It would seem not... :(

Cut an inch off the back end if you can, easton unibushings in 2413 size fit....use goat tuff or super glue gel

use the same on the points.....my target is extremely hard to pull at times and I have NEVER lost a point yet.

Ouch!
The shafts are the same as they have always been. The only thing that we can't control is the OD of the points; which are held within a +/-.0005" We get shooter thay tell us they're to tight and some tell us they're to loose. With thousands of dozen sold monthly we have only had a couple people calling us with issues. People have ask us to make the pin bushing a little loose so people couldus plastic bags to install them and other like them tight. I love my job:)
I use Ajax to clean the points and shafts and have never had an issue. Try that.

We just started to make points for them this year. We used to buy PDP points

I just sent a message to Victory yesterday about the inserts coming out of the 2 arrows I fletched up and within 6 shots lost both inserts in my target when I pulled the arrows out. These were VFOrceHV350V-1"s. It seems that the inserts external diameter is cut to large causing too much of an edge when pulled out of a target.

well you could shoot the gold tips with pin nocks and have them break 3 out of 10 shots in a day. i would rather loose points than almost dry fire my bow. PM BARTMAN with your problems he might be able to help you out.

Why use pin nocks, when you can use Easton 2413 g-nock uni bushings and Bohning f-nocks. Great combo.

I use to shoot carbon techs and I would swear by them but after a few years, I started having problems with the inserts coming out. Not only with my personal stuff but also with all my customers. I stopped selling and using the carbon techs since. It's a shame too because I never shot a dozen arrows where all 12 would group. Usually there is one or two fliers in the group.

I talked to victory a couple of years ago but after reviewing their prices I was not that impressed. I guess I'm better off if they are having the same trouble. I shoot easton carbons now and have not had any trouble with them.

I ask him to contact us direct and we will ship him new inserts

I was fortunate enough to win a dozen Victory arrows last year and thanks to their generosity at that tournament it won't be my last to own from them. I like to support those that give to my local shoots and besides, talk about customer service? Bartman comes on here to answer questions and it's not even his companies web page.

I 'm almost positive the sloppiness is more than.0005, more like.010. I work in an aircraft plant, so I'm gonna try some aircraft epoxy, if that doesn't hold, I don't think anything will. Maybe, bartman, victory should step up the quality control.

Try using hot glue. That way when you have a bad point from hitting someones pin knock you can heat it up and replace the point other then just loosing an arrow. I have never had a problem with the hot glue and I have been shooting the XRingers for over a year.

this may sound trivial to most, but are you cleaning the inside of the arrow after cutting them and before gluing the points in ? The carbon dust will cause the glue not to stick if not cleaned first.

I've had no trouble, 4 tourneys and gosh knows how many backstops so far this year.......

Listen up !! I have X-Ringer HVs, X-Ringers, and VX22 HVs. And you can't pull the tips out of any of them with a truck. No way, Jose.

You HAVE to brush the inside of the shafts out good with something like a rifle bore brush. Then clean them good with alcohol. I use the fastest setting Goat Tuff you can buy, and I can't get the tips out of any of my arrows within 60 seconds. Nor fletchings. I've actually had a couple set on me hard before I even got the tip pushed all the way in. Buddy of mine and I are shooting newly made arrows within 15 minutes of making them up....and at 3D McKenzie targets and hard rubber mats that are really hard to extract things from.

So I don't understand your problem if you take all the correct steps and use all the correct materials. And I use the tips, etc. that came with them.

Call Justin or Nick at 866-934-6565 and they will replace your points and nocks for free. I check over 200 points and found 2 points that where .344' and the ID of the X-Ringer are .345" I have contaced Allen from RAM and ask him to make the points a little bigger than .344" so they will fit a little tighter. we have sold over 80K with only a couple issues and I hope this will fix one of them:)

Now that's what I'm talking about !! Why would anyone NOT want to shoot Victory after the way Bart handled this problem.

I'm sold on Victory for good now, good job, great customer service
