Lens or not to lens

I just dont like a lens. Seems I shoot better without a lens.

Most pros I know only shoot a 2X or 3X at tops other than a few Like Tom Crowe and Tim Gillingham. Who both shoot clearafiers and high power.

Yesturday the sun glare on the lens at times just bugs me. I also noticed glare off my level. Im going to make it black on the bacside to reduce glare off of it.

For me I know where the circles are and 12 rings. Cant see them with a 3X lens any better.

For me the pin doesnt move at all without a lens. For me that helps. Anytime I have a lens the pins moves.

I know the few times I tried a lens, The glare far out wayed any benefits I got from it. I had more trouble seeing targets & finding a spot to aim at. I also wear glasses, so with the glasses , the clarifier & the lens there was just too much glare.

I like a 4X, but nothing stronger. My eyes are not good enough to not use a lens, though, at 50 yards. Stronger than 4X makes more movement and a blurry picture without a clarifier. For me anyway.
