I need help, All of the Elites that I either shot or have owned are about 1/2" long in DL. I've decided on a 09' Z-28 @ 28"DL, my normal DL is 28.5". I've heard through the rumor mill that the new smooth evolution cams will not be a 1/2" long they will be exact, a 28.5 will be a 28.5. Anyone know for sure before I order?
Thanks Don

Kevin was on here a few days ago saying exactly that. They stopped using the rev cam on the Z in part because the DL were running long.
Edit: and he just posted it again at the exact same time I did. :)

was this the same on the XLR? I have a 29" cam on the XLR and I just got a GT-500 with 29" and it seems to fit a little better than the XLR.

The XLR should be dead on also, if not there is something not set up exactly right. Measure your string/cable under 100# of tension.
Then do a Draw force curve and see if the bow hits peak with the first 6-6.5" of draw. Also check the draw on a draw board with a digital scale and stop cranking when the holding weight goes up .001, this is the exact AMO draw length of the bow.
