My first post from the land down under and hopefully a lucky one! I'm waiting for the arrival of my new GT500 through Oceanic Archery in Sydney. Hopefully it will be in the country on Monday 9th of February. I ordered the GT500 without ever handling one - its reputation was enough to convince me to stop looking elsewhere.

I'm in the Snowy Mountains in the state of New South Wales and in my opinion it is some of the best country in Australia. I wish everyone good luck in the draw and I look forward to reading further posts.

Las Vegas needs an Elite in the mix. Another bow company finally made its way to vegas about 5 years ago through a raffle at our annual "bratwurst" shoot. Have been shopping since November of last year, haven't shot any of the Elite line, but have heard great and wonderful things about the bows.

As a heads up, I will need a lefthanded version which is why I haven't shot one yet.

So here is how it could read.

My first post on Elite Archery forum is for a bow.
Could make it the 1st Left handed 500 off of the line. (I think it's the only bow being made in a left handed this year).

It might make others upset that the free bow went to a newbe, but how else do you grow the Elite Family?

That's my post, if this is good enough to win then I will be blessed to shot an Elite bow. If not then I will still wait to shoot one left handed and see how it stacks up to the Rytera Alien.
