first 300 today

i finally got it out of the way, shot a 300 40x. the x count wasn't to great the last 3 ends-only 8. but i am just happy i kept them in the white. lol now to do it again

The funny thing about shooting the first 300. You work at it and shoot and shoot and try and try then you get one. When you realize that last arrow is in the spot you spin around waiting for the balloons to drop the band to play and the parade to go by--yet the fanfare never comes. The good thing is, however, that feeling you have in your chest and the weight that has been lifted from your mind will make the next 300 come much easier. i hope it comes much easier, i guess i know that i can do it now. it actually seemed to come pretty easy. except the last 3 ends when i started to think about it.

ya, i got it with a 70lb gt500, set up for bhfs. it will be kinda nice getting the 60lb'er back from jim. lol
