If Phone or enternet bow sales are not under warranty & Elite will check where you like vs where you bought your bow to verify thats its not, Will I need to prove that I did indeed drive over 3 hours (1 way) to Micheals TVA shop to buy my bow? Mabey a gas recipt from Chillicothe?

If it breaks where are you going to take it? If its Michaels then your good to go.
I dont think they care how far you drive. I still say they are just cracking down on the E-bay type sales. and dealers selling under other dealers.

I don't think you need to worry too much. They will take care of you if you need it.

I dont mind driving the 3 hours to TVA, been there 3 times & plan many more. Just dont want Elite to pull my warranty cause its not my closest dealer.

I dont think you can buy a new elite there anymore though, I think you have to get it at the local guy
he may DRIVE to any dealer

do you all remember back about a month or so ago when a dealer got caught selling current Elite bows on Ebay? If you know who that was and you are looking to be pissed at somebody for the "local dealer" thing...thank that dealer. he was selling new Elites at WELL BELOW M.A.P.

I don't think that people should be mad at Elite for trying to help out everybody that is dealing their bows. I'm a dealer and I have had to turn people away for them not buying at their closest dealer. I could have sold but I chose not to because it's always been a rule, just maybe not enforced. After all there is a sticky staing what is expected out the dealers.

Sorry some have taken this wrong!! I never said I was mad at Elite. Just want to know should I send some kind of proof with my Warranty card that the bow was not a Phone sell & that I did indeed drive to the shop. I havent bought a new Elilte yet this year (09) but dont want to get TVA in trouble when or if I do, or not to have warranty.

Glad to see people want an elite bad enough to drive 3-4 hours for one. Some advice, you made a good call. these bows are designed right and shoot great.. good work!

Mike would take care of you no matter what.He is one of the best dealers around.I bought my synergy on A/T and it had a small splinter in the limb, the bow was never registersd and Mike and elite still took care of me and replaced the limbs.Topnotch c/s and dealer.
