It is blowing so hard that I-70 and Berthoud Pass are closed....so I have now lost one day on the mountain...I hope it opens soon...I was looking forward to a few days of snowboarding....

Hike in! Snowmobile in! Do whatever it takes.
Thanks, but I am going to wait until after they do their avalanche blasting...otherwise it could be a rough hike:D

Ride them avalanches like a big wave! JK - nothing to mess around with. It's blowing like **** up here in Evergreen.
Wahooooo, both I-70 and Berthoud pass are now open...looks like I will be getting to bed early and hitting the slopes first thing in the morning...:D

what kind of reported wind speeds yall recieving???
I think anywhere from 50-70 mph gusts which with snow powder can make for some interesting conditions and avalanche issues....

sounds like a good day in Amarillo....
Yep, but when that loose snow is blowing in to channel like canyons...it is a bit worse than getting hit by tumble weed;)
