I will either shoot tonight or tomorrow night. Going to have to print some taret off so I can get a round in. I will wait and post my score though Saturday night or Sunday that way I can take the better score if I do shoot later in the week.

Last night will be the last Monday night momma works. Unless I get a baby sitter, I will miss the Zone's league since she will work every other Thursday.

shot last night and ended up with 300 22X. Thought about posting that one as my score, but still had most of the week. Tonights first round was 299 22X, everything started coming around the second half, so decided to shoot one more round. 300 24X was the last round, and I'll use that for the second week score. Gotta get that perfect round in before this ends, its what we keep shooting for!!!

For me to get a 300 on 3 spot, I am going to have to retune my bow to shoot broom handles.

I've never shot a vegas target before this league, just 5 spot. For some reason, it seams easier to keep them in the 10 ring in a vegas than to hit the X on a 5 spot, if that makes sense!!! Shooting linejammers helps too.

that is weird, the 5 spot X ring is the same size as the Vegas 10 ring.

I can't see it either, just aiming in the middle. Seams like once i get a good hole in the target, it gets easier to hit. Hopefully, its in the middle. As far as the 10 and the X being the same size, thats what is weird about it, maybe a person aims better beings the X on a vegas is smaller.:noidea:

I was out at Viking today and they are running a Vegas league so they are short on targets too, but they have more ordered. Lucky for me I managed to get 5 out of them so I am good for the rest of the league. :)

Hey all, I just got the Thumbs up as a late comer.. My bow were set up to kill up until this week.. Now they are tuned up and ready to rock again.. I shot a couple practice rounds this week so far.. 292 22X , 294 23X , 298 23X. NOt to bad but im still in search of another 300. This year is my first year shooting 3 spot.. 5 spot was my thing for awhile..

Spot bow will be:

Cartel Stabs
Carter Release
2312 xx78's w/3" feather
180grs up front.

I will use the first 300 of my 450 wed night league scores..
week 1 285 10x man I choked
week 2 last night 286 15x only missed 4 10's but took a zero as I shot an X on my partners target.
don't get used to these low scores as I average more like 293 normally.
shot a 299 and 293 this am..

ANYWAY i ended with a 298 20X. This is only my fourth round this week.. im still getting into the 3 spot. A bit different than 5 spot but i like shooting less arrows..haha

Hoping to be back on my game by sunday to turn in my Official Score..

Hows the rest of Team 4 doin..?

Well, I spent a couple hours on the drawboard this afternoon, tuned things up, dialed the sights back in and shot a round. My score doesn't sound great after the last couple scores posted, but I am really happy with my improvement from last week. I pulled a couple, but the gto is doing it's job and I felt really good shooting today. Plus it was in the low 30's instead of single digits, so I shot at home instead of going to the shop to use their range, maybe having no spectators helped my score a little??

Anyway, 289 9x, I know it's no 300, but I'm :rockon::dance:

Well I might be able to shoot again before Sunday, but I have to shoot a Dart System tournament on Saturday which entails 40 arrows.(= sore shoulder ) The dog was at it again (vomiting). 283-13x.

I shot a 271 5x earlier in the week and managed to shoot a 274 5x yesterday. I had my best first half yet and then in the first 3 ends of the second half I dropped more points than the whole first half. sigh. I was running out of time at the range and just rushed it too much. I need to get some coaching I think. Though at this point, I've only done 4 rounds ever.

Scores were
278 6x
270 3x
271 5x
274 5x

Maybe I just need to practice practice practice. A little coaching wouldn't hurt either I bet.
