General
* The league will last for 6 weeks.
* Report 1 score and 1 score only each week.
* League starts on January 12,2009.
* Be honest in your scoring. The point is to have fun and improve
Classes
* There is only 1 class.
Shooting
* 20 yards from the target face, straddle the line.
* Target to be picked week of the 4th
*
* You can shoot as many rounds as you want, however your score has to be 30 or 60
consecutive shots. No mulligans here!
* Reporting
* Individual scores will be reported
* No handicap will be applied.
* Lowest score will be dropped when final individual score is reported.
* Team scores
* Participants will be divided into teams.
*
* League average is given to participants who donʼt report a score in a given
week.
1 score for a week! So make sure itʼs your best score!
* forum-name, total, week #
* Report a score for Total - 295, 18Xs
* Participants can fail to report a score for 1 week. If a participant fails to report a score
twice, they will be dropped from the league.
* Weekly results will be reported on the EAF each Tuesday/Wednesday of the week.

So we are only doing total scores? Last time we did two rounds for each week (first 15 arrows and then the second 15 arrows). It does not matter, just asking.

No. Counting the votes for which target Sunday Jan 4, 2009 then YOU WILL PICK TEAMS ! LOL if you don't want to all i was going to do was count up players, see how many teams we could have. make a X-cell spread sheet with the names on it and print it. then cut out each name fold, drop into a cup and start drawing. 1st one team 1, second one team 2 and so on till all drawn.

If some of the PRO shooters would have joined i would have put them in a league against each other, but then it might get too competitive.

that might be needed, thanks. the summer league had a few drop outs along the way.

all i was going to do if someone dropped was fill their spot with the team average each week. same for if someone fails to post a score. that way the no animosity builds.

fita three spots is what I'm using holding them up side by side the only visible difference they're printed on a white back ground. some up north here claim that the x is a little larger on the Vegas face. Personally if it is it wont matter chances are most of you are shooting outer 10 anyways.

Outer edge of the blue is 7 7/8" and the outer edge of the yellow is 3 1/8. The 10 ring is 1 9/16". and the X ring is 3/4". That is off of the official Vegas Face target.

I shot a practice round today, it was my first time ever shooting a round of vegas(or any spots for that matter). I definitely need to get as much practice in as I can before I turn in a score. Shot a 273:fit:. I expected to do better, hope I can improve.

I shot my first ever Vegas round on Saturday and ended up with a 278 6x score. I know I can do better. I didn't feel too bad since it was my first attempt at any sort of spot shooting. I hope to get a round or 2 in this week and see a better score. :)

why don't you wait till Friday /Saturday and say official week 1 score, that way if you happen to have time to shoot and HAPPEN to score better then it will post. ;) ( i'll put it on the score card but won't take it as the official one yet)

Medic1 can only shoot on Monday night, between family and patching people back together, he's got his hands full the rest of the week.

May be a stupid question....
but which 10 is a 10 ?
I mean, when i'm shooting here,( indoor competition ) the only smaller circle of the 10 is agreed as a 10 for compound bows; the larger 10 is equal as as 9 ( 3spot indoor, 18 meters for us... )

Is it the same for the league ? Or all the "10" is 10 ?

smallest circle is a 10X the outer ring around that one is a 10 only then 9,8,7,6,0
if an arrow "cuts" the line score to the highest point. ( basically I score it higher if i cannot see color between the arrow and the line) your call

It was fun the first 15 times. the next 15 seemed like a chore. I think i screwed up when i took a drink break. All i can remember doing is trying to correct my form trying to level the scope bubble, trying to anchor right....all at once.......i believe over-thinking got the better of me....and to think i was doing that to top my previous set.......

I just got A Tru-Ball Ultra 2 on AT for $30, gonna give BT a try , again, I know it will move me to the next level, but will it be worth the hassle of learning it.................time will tell.

i think the biggest mistake i make is waiting more than 3 seconds to touch it off, the second half i just settled the pin and let it go, rerfect round. i think i might be on to something.
