Anyone ever hunted here? http://www.heartlandlodge.com/

If so, what did you think? Looks nice.
I've been thinking about going to a place like this. Anyone have a place they have been to similar to this? Please let us know about it. Details......

Hunted there in 2005. 4 Hunters. 1 Buck 124". Stands were about 10 foot off the ground. Guide didnt show up 1 day 2 take us. He had a 2 wheel drive truck, got stuck in the mud, ruined the morning hunt that day. Rooms were so small we had 2 leave our gear outside. No other bucks killed. We were there the last week of October. They catered to the hunters hunting the trophy buck area which is a 4500.00 hunt. Guides said our farms werent hunted. However there was blood on the trails we walked in on. Guide then said Oh yea I forgot, They shot some does here. Sad operation. PM me if you need more info.

Thanks, I'll take a look at it.

I'm looking for something less than $4,000 for sure. I would have a hard time enjoying myself if I pay out that much to hunt.
