think i am going to try out some large diameter shafts this season, looking for some suggestions good and bad about these 3 arrows
GT ultralight pro 22 series
easton Fatboys
CX CXL2's
i am leaning towards the gold tips but the only thing about them is they are single spine fits all

I shoot the Goldtip Xcutters.
Just ordered three dozen again. There excellant arrows.
MIne weigh around 330grns with 90grns nibbs
I will tell you some think the 22 series is one of Goldtips best.
Want a fat shaft go with xcutter.

I'm leaning towards the linejammers but I can't decide between them and the CXL-SS. Gold tip makes a good arrow but like you said the one spine fits all is a drawback. Also CX spine selects and matches each dozen which is a big deal if you ask me.
Alot of pro's shoot the fatboys but they also are Easton prostaffers and don't have much of a choice.

You might want to check out Victory arrows. They are supposed to be bigger and faster than fatboys. There is a thread around here somewhere about a deal on victory shafts for Elite shooters. Check them out.

Check out the Victory XringerHv's!
Or the Victory VX-22Hv's.........
I have been shooting the VX-22Hv's for 3-D and they fly great and are very durable! This year though Im going to try the XringerHv 350's!
I set some XringerHv's up for indoor spots and sighted in the otherday...they fly very nice!!

I have had better luck with the Fatboys. The gold tip 22's I tried and didnt like them. they work well for a buddy though.

I'm using CXL SS and have been using cxl2's for a couple of years, they are great shafts and very consistenet. Not a big fan of the fatboy's and didn't like the 22's either. I use Carbon Tech Hippo's on my GT500 and the CXL2's on my XLR.

Your best choice is Victory X-RingerHV350 at 6.2 grains per inch. You can get a complete arrow that will weigh 300 grains! The only shft that will do that! 60# + 300 grain arrow = Victory:)

i shoot the linejammers with 115 gr in the front end, have had pretty good success with these arrows this past 3d season. at 7.6 gr per inch you cannot get a big diameter shaft any better in my opinion
